Divorce service when you’re unsure if your spouse will agree to the divorce
This divorce service is for people who are unsure whether or not their ex-partner will respond to the court and acknowledge the divorce papers.
If you believe your ex will ignore the divorce papers sent to them then there are options for you to get divorced.
We would need to look at getting the papers served upon them by a court bailiff or process server.
They physically give your ex the papers and submit a statement of truth to the court saying they have the papers, the judge will give your ex 14 days or so to respond.
If your ex-partner still chooses to ignore the papers then the judge will allow the divorce to go through without their signature.
What’s Included for £449 & How Does It Work?
This service is fully managed, which means having the entire divorce process handled for you, including the drafting and filing of all divorce papers.
All you would need to do in order to get divorced using this service is to fill in a short questionnaire and return any paperwork we need you to sign.
We would then do the rest for you, deal with courts and file any petitions, etc.
You would also have a designated case manager who would be with you throughout the process from start to finish.
This service could cost well over £2,500 with a high street solicitor, whereas our service is just £449 fixed fee plus the mandatory court fees. We do everything we can to make the divorce go through as quickly as possible.
Mandatory ourt fees are payable of £550. This fee is required for the court to start proceedings. Extra fees may be payable depending on your case. For example, if a process server is required, these charge £150-£200. You may be exempt from the fees if you are on low income or benefits.
