Our Founder and CEO

Mark Keenan is the founder and CEO of
Online Legal Services Limited, the parent company of
Divorce-Online.
Mark founded the company whilst working in
a Solicitors practice as a senior family law
executive and invented the concept of online divorce
in the UK as we know it today back in 1999 at the height of the dot com boom.
Mark is a founder member of the Institute
of Paralegals.
Mark was also the
Entrepreneur of the Year for Wiltshire having won
the prestigious award at the Wiltshire Business of the
Year Awards on 29th February 2008.
Prior to setting up Divorce-Online, Mark managed
three family law departments in both Dorset and the West
Midlands and has been practising family law for over 20
years.
He has overseen the company rise from being a clever
idea to becoming one of the UK's foremost online legal
services companies with an excellent reputation
throughout the UK and abroad, not only among the general
public but amongst the legal profession the
judiciary and the highest levels of Government.
"We offer a different service to Solicitors as
we only deal with people who have agreed their
separation and divorce and help people with our award
winning service which allows our clients to create their
own proceedings. We then assist the client with the
procedures they have to follow from start to finish"
His aim has always been to help people undertake
their own divorce proceedings without
needing to employ Solicitors and incurring their high
costs. A recent report by the Legal Ombudsman criticising divorce costs came as no suprise.
Mark Keenan is assisted by an independent board of
directors whose business acumen and commercial expertise
have allowed the company to grow whilst still maintaining his mission to provide a friendly personal service.
Mark has become an expert in online legal services delivery and is often asked to assist the media with
divorce related matters and has appeared on Trevor
McDonald Tonight, BBC News, ITV news, BBC Radio, LBC,
Capital FM and has been quoted in all the major national
newspapers on many occassions.
Mark is also Fellow of the
Institute
of Paralegals .

Stuart May
Operations Manager
|
Stuart May is responsible
for supervising our experienced legal team to ensure that we continue to deliver the best service to our clients that we can without compromise.
Stuart's ongoing mission is to ensure all our cases go
through as smoothly as possible and his expert
procedural knowledge ensures that where problems do
occur, they are dealt with swiftly and professionally.
Stuart is also our Court liaison and has regular
meetings with the Court Service to ensure both
organisations are singing from the same hymn sheet and are operating as efficiently as possible to minimise delays at what is a very upsetting time for many of our clients.

Oliver Thompson
Web and systems Manager

Oliver is responsible for the development of all
internal and external software and hardware systems within the company.
His primary function is to make all our secure services as easy
to use as possible from both a user and client
experience and to manage our unique online case
management and volume legal document processing system
which we are continually upgrading to make it stay the leading application in it's field .

Toni Freeman
Client Relations Manager

Toni Freeman is our Clients Relations Manager
Toni comes from a client care background.
Toni is
responsible for ensuring enquiries from the websites and
inbound telephone calls are dealt with quickly and by the right person.
She is dedicated to providing our potential client's
with easy to understand information in iorder that they can make an informed decision about whether our services are suitable. If we cannot help then she will refer them to alternative sources where they can get the correct advice.
She also ensures that inbound messages from clients
reach the appropriate Case managers and are promptly
actioned.
Toni manages the evening and weekend teams to ensure
continuity between the day time staff and evening and
weekend staff.

David Parsons-Hann F.Inst.Pa
Senior Legal Manager

David Parsons-Hann is our senior Legal Manager and a Certified Paralegal.
David joined us from the
Court Service where he was in charge of a busy family section for many years.
His experience of court procedure and the inner
workings of the court service is invaluable to us and our clients and he enjoys being able to help our clients achieve as smooth a
divorce procedure as is possible having the inside knowledge court procedures.

Jackie Penney - A.Inst.Pa
Divorce Papers Administrator

Jackie Penney is an Associate Paralegal. Her main responsibility is to check divorce petitions for accuracy before they are submitted to court.
Above all, she keeps everyone in line to make sure we provide a service above and beyond that provided by anyone else in our industry.

Kelly Brown
Consent order manager
|
|
Kelly is responsible for the Consent Order Department. She is there to support clients who wish to have their finances made into a binding order. She is the point of contact between Divorce-Online and our chosen drafting Solicitors.

Charlotte Scott
Divorce Administrator

Charlotte assists with our administrative processes.
She ensures that all our documents are dealt with efficiently, clients are updated and other members of staff do as they are told.

Daniel Zammit
Marketing Executive

Daniel is our online marketing executive. With a passion for data Daniel is tasked with keeping our websites, content and blogs top of the search engines. He also deals with our social media accounts which we use to communicate with our clients and to inform and update the general public on the latest news.

Kirsty Boorman
Community Manager

Kirsty Boorman is our commmunity manager. Her job is to make the user experience an enjoyable obne when users access our forums seeking advice. Kirsty has a Diploma in Family Law and is on the last stages of her law degree.
