Get Expert Advice on a Consent Order You’ve Received For £399

Have you been presented with a financial consent order to sign by a solicitor or by your ex-spouse and need advice to understand what it means?

No one should proceed to sign a consent order that has been presented to them without getting advice and understanding the implications for their future financial health.

Our consent order review service is designed to empower you to understand the consequences of signing an order and whether it may be questioned by a court.

You will get expert advice on:

  • What a draft consent order you have received means to you in financial terms.
  • Why a consent order is important in your case.
  • What other documents need to be completed and the procedure for getting them ready.
  • What happens once everything is agreed between you and your ex spouse in terms of implementation and timings.
  • Whether on the face of the order it might encounter difficulties in being accepted by the court.

Please be aware – your solicitor will not be able to tell you if you should personally accept the settlement set out in the consent order.

This is because they would need to see all your and your ex’s financial paperwork first to do this. If this is what you would like the solicitor to do, talk to them about the cost of this work.

We have kept the cost of advice through this service as low as possible. If you were to engage one of our lawyers outside of this service, you would pay on average £264 per hour (including VAT). So an appointment like this would cost you on average £528.

What happens next?

  1. Your solicitor will send you the terms and conditions
  2. Provide your ID electronically
  3. Send your draft order and D81 to your solicitor
  4. Set up a convenient appointment by phone or video
  5. Obtain a legal advice certificate ( if required)
