I just wanted to drop you a line to say "thank you" for your all your help in getting my divorced finalised.

I split from my (now ex) husband in November 2002 and had been putting off the divorce proceedings because I thought it was going to involve endless paperwork, court appearances and expense. Neither of us was in any rush to re-marry so it just got put on the "to do" pile and neither of us ever really got around to it.

Then I saw an article in the Daily Mail last year where people who had used your services explained how straightforward you had all made the whole procedure So credit card at the ready, off I went to the website to purchase the first round of paperwork.

It truly couldn't have been easier. Each stage was followed up, each set of documents emailed to me with explanatory notes of where to sign and date, and where not to and envelopes provided for returning everything. The only document I had to get witnessed by a solicitor also came with notes and advise on how to go about it and an indication of the cost.

I must also thank you Stuart for answering my emails that said "um what does this bit mean?". You must get a mountain of similar emails everyday but you always took the time to answer mine and never made me think I was interrupting or being daft.

Should any of my friends ever find themselves in a similar position I shall not hesitate to recommend your services.

The thought of starting my divorce was extremely daunting and not something that I was looking forward to at all.

I had no idea where to start and even though I had been separated for 5 years I was expecting the whole process to drag on for ages and there was no way I could afford to go through a Solicitor as I had been quoted thousands of pounds.

So I looked on the internet and came across the advert for 'Divorce-Online' which seemed too good to be true, to be honest I was a little sceptical about using an online company to start with as I thought it would lack the personal touch and would lack real support . However I read on and called Stuart for an informal chat first to see if he could give me more information on how it all worked. As I had no children or other financial ties with my ex, Stuart recommended that I use their Diamond Service and within days I had all the relevant forms that I needed and instructions on what to do next (the Diamond Service cost me just £170 which was a fraction of what I would have otherwise of had to pay for a Solicitor).

I was still quite stressed throughout the process as it was not an amicable split, but Stuart was patient and understanding and was contactable via the phone and email if I had any questions or concerns. He was always professional and efficient and remained so even when I checked and re-checked with him that I was filling in the forms correctly!

I have already recommend Divorce-online to several people who I know that are in a similar situation. The service they provided really did help me through an unpleasant stage in my life and I genuinely thank them for that. Now that our divorce and consent order have been completed; my ex wife and I, as well as our families and friends, can now get on with the rest of our lives. We were fortunate in that our situation was reasonably amicable and we were both of the mind that we did not what a long and expensive drawn out process involving solicitors and court attendances.

Enter Divorce On Line (DOL)! The service that we received from DOL was second to none! And they fulfilled their advertised promises to the letter. Mark and Stuart were always on hand for quick and accurate advice, while also always communicating in an empathetic and understanding way.

The supplied paperwork was clear and concise with the questions relevant and precise. However, the DOL staff was always on hand either by email or on the phone whenever anything confusing arose.

We did incur some hold-ups through sloppy and sometimes bureaucratic administration once the court got involved with the process, but again the team at DOL were quick to advise and steer the process back onto the correct path until its ultimately successful conclusion.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the services of DOL, especially for couples in a similar situation to us, where the decision was joint and amicable.

Divorce-Online is a service I can’t recommend too highly. For uncontested cases, it’s a simple and elegant way to be divorced. It takes much of the stress out. You don’t need to deal with a town lawyer face to face or pay by the hour to have your hand held. You don’t need to call five times and find the line still engaged.

You can sit in your room, in the middle of the night if you please, from another part of the globe if that’s where you happen to be, and write your email reply or query, and you’d receive a personal response from one of the team, possibly within the hour (if you are not in UK and the time difference permits), otherwise by the next day. You’d exchange emails with the same one or two persons throughout, thus giving a sense of personal contact. Documents and forms can be conveyed as attachments to email, and only occasionally (when they are for the court) would you need to print them out and send them by post.

It’s a pleasant way to do it. The energy required from you is only what it takes; emotional damage is thus minimised. These online lawyers do indeed take you stage by stage from beginning to end as they promise, and are always willing to explain or answer questions; you can also telephone them if you wish. They are courteous, informal, no fuss, and they deliver. All the charges, including the court fees, are upfront, and the price is incredible, futuristic! At a time when you expect the lawyer’s fees to be an added burden, you find it isn’t. This can be an unexpected kindness.

At the end, they present you with a full set of your papers, or offer to keep them if that is what you’d prefer. I have found the Divorce-online service so helpful and pain-free that the papers have turned into a kind of souvenir of the experience. And finally...I’ve been able to intrigue friends with the story of how I was divorced on the internet!

Divorce online proved a painless (as possible) way for two people who had agreed to part to divorce amicably. We didn't want solicitors involved as we thought they are bound by codes of practice which mean that if they do not advice their clients to maximise claims against the other party that they themselves could be accused of negligence.

We decided to sort it all out ourselves and thankfully we could still sit down together and do this. However what about the legalities?

All the paper work for both of us was carried out very professionally. We were sent everything to check and we made several re-drafts, especially of the financial clean break with no complaints from divorce online just support. The Judge on our final hearing asked whether I or my wife was a lawyer and was more than interested in the service that you offered.

Mediation is a very powerful route to resolving difficulties and although we did not need it in our case I would strongly suggest that combined with your service many couples would find Divorce a far less damaging process.

Many many thanks, the process started in May and finished in October and although both of us are sad at the failure of our marriage we cannot fault the service your provided.

Solicitors don't solve the problems, we do, they just have a tendency to inflame them.

I need to write and thank you all at Divorce-Online, you made the procedure so easy.

After being quoted £800 plus vat and extra cost’s for the Financial work from a local solicitor, I decided to surf the net and came across Divorce On-line after reading your home page I decided to go for the Gold package, it must be worth the £90 cost.
